How Does It Work?


STEP 1 - DO YOU HAVE A BOOK IN YOU?

The first step is Paul Kemp warmly introduces you to do a phone call with an Author Consultant. Together, you will figure out two things:

Do you have a good idea for a book?
Does it make sense for you to work on it?

This is not for everyone

Your time commitment = 1 hour


STEP 2 - TURN YOUR BOOK IDEA INTO A BOOK OUTLINE

The process begins with the outline calls. Over the course of two in-depth conversations, the professional book developers I introduce you to will take all of your ideas and turn them into a tight, professional book outline that lays the foundation for your book to capture your intent and captivate readers. They do this by clarifying your goals, refining your book idea, positioning it correctly in the market, and honing the book’s message until it’s exactly what it needs to be.

 

Your time commitment = 3 hours (two 90 minute calls)


STEP 3 - WRITE YOUR BOOK THROUGH INTERVIEWS

The company I introduce you to have editors, who range in experience from professional journalists to bestselling authors, and they will interview you using the outline as the guide.

The interview with you is a way that gets all of your knowledge and wisdom out of your head, while also acting as an “advocate for the reader.” This ensures that you say what you want to say, but in a way that will resonate with your audience, thus ensuring your book is the best possible expression of your ideas.


STEP 4 - INTERVIEWS TRANSLATED INTO BOOK PROSE

Those recorded interviews will be transcribed, and the same editor will work from the transcript to create a book manuscript. This manuscript will be your ideas and your words, written in your voice.

Then you will read through the manuscript with your editor and identify any changes you want us to make, to ensure it’s exactly what you want to say and the way you want to say it. This book is your ideas and knowledge, in your words and voice.

Your time commitment = 3-4 hours (editing time)


STEP 5 - PROFESSIONALLY PUBLISHED BOOK

The biggest thing that separates “real” books from those that feel amateur or self-published is the design elements. The publishing team I introduce you to will make sure your book looks and feels like the best books available for purchase at any bookstore or published by any traditional publisher.

Of course this means a professional cover, and also the smaller elements that are very important, like an ISBN, a professional book description, author bio, etc.; your book will feel completely at home on a bookshelf next to any other book.

Your book will be published by Lioncrest Publishing, and be available for purchase in both paperback and ebook format (and hardcover for the premium package), in all major online retailers.

Your time commitment = 1 hour (reviewing covers)

 


STEP 6 - FROM PUBLISHED AUTHOR TO BESTSELLING AUTHOR

The process doesn’t stop with a published book. The company I introduce you to will also help you launch and promote your book.

Their marketing campaign includes an Amazon Bestseller promotion that will ensure your book is seen by thousands of people the week it launches, as well as hit #1 in one or more sub-categories.

Total time commitment = 12-15 hours

From 1st INTRODUCTION to PUBLICATION = 5 months
